Mayes Jaya Utama is a Specialized Purpose Vehicle (SPV) fully owned and managed by InfraCo Asia – An infrastructure development and investment company of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), InfraCo Asia has developed and invested in a strong renewables portfolio, which includes small and medium hydropower projects in South and Southeast Asia.

About Indonesia's Energy Sector
Indonesia targets a share of Renewable Energy in the energy mix of 23% and 31% by 2025 and 2050, as stipulated in the Paris Agreement. Despite this, renewable energy targets, specifically, the development of wind power has lagged significantly. These developments are primarily hampered by:
- Unfavorable conditions for bankable PPAs
- Uncertain pricing schemes
- Lengthy licensing processes
- And grid infrastructure to accommodate new technologies
To tackle these problems, MJU and sponsors aim is to expand Indonesia’s Wind power portfolio with a focus in bankable and sustainable infrastructure projects.
