Project Overview
- A portfolio of potential capacity 96 MW Wind power projects has been identified in Lambadeuk, Sumatra Island, Indonesia. The capacity split into 2 phases.
- For the Phase-1 55 MW and the tender have been conducting by PLN Group
- Phase II of 41 MW is still under review and awaiting Phase I results
- Strong class IIIA wind resource estimated 6.5-8m/s at 120m height.
- Survey license issued in May 2019. The met mast in Aceh was erected in April 2020. (refer to picture below)
- Sole Off taker of project: Indonesia’s National Electricity Corporation (PLN) is expected to be responsible for purchasing the entire project output, under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) template for up to 25 years.
- Projects are RUPTL Listed In the 2021-2030 RUPTL
- Supportive regulatory environment includes potential for import tax exemptions, tax holiday and corporate tax allowances.
